Saxophonist.
Born in Kobayashi City, Miyazaki Prefecture.
While continuing individual performance activities, has supported various vocalists including Isao Bito, Marlene, Johnny Okura, Shinya Aizaki, Cools, Miki Hirayama, Mieko Hirota, Takamichi Kato (Karyudo), Yoshiaki Ueda (The Wild Ones), Shin Okamoto (The Jaguars), Hiro Tsunoda, Machiko Watanabe, Hideki Saijo, Tomoko Ogawa, Kiyohiko Ozaki, Linda Yamamoto, Megumi Asaoka, Four Leaves, Masaaki Hirao, Mickey Curtis, Keijiro Yamashita, Hisahiko Iida, Mitsuo Sagawa, Isao Sasaki, Yasushi Suzuki, Yasuo Tanabe, Yumiko Kokonoe, Midori Tashiro, Kayoko Moriyama, Mie Nakao, Mari Sono, Yukari Ito, Masayuki Yuhara, Yasushi Ono, and many others.
Additionally, participated in TV commercials, such as appearing solo with a capella chorus backing in the "Onigiri no gu!" commercial for Kewpie Mayonnaise (1999), and serving as the musical instrument choreographer for Calbee's "Zakuzaku Potato" commercial (2001).
At Tokyo Disneyland, played the alto saxophone as part of the band "Sax Five," which consisted solely of saxophones (2003–2005).
Participated in the revival show "Western Carnival," featuring popular artists like Masaaki Hirao, Mickey Curtis, and Keijiro Yamashita, known as the "Three Rockabilly Men," which has boasted a history of over 50 years since its first installment (2003–).
In 2014, participated in the Japan tour of Ben E. King, former lead singer of The Drifters and known for the worldwide hit "Stand by Me," in the "Ben E. King Stand by Me Live 2014" tour, receiving great acclaim.
In recent years, beyond the realm of saxophonists, has expanded performances to include instruments such as flute, clarinet, trombone, etc., especially after experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic.
